How much is the new 2021 iPad Pro with M1 Chip?

Are you excited for the newly announced iPad Pro? We are too! The new iPad Pro (not sure of the official name yet), M1 iPad Pro? 2021 iPad Pro? 2021 M1 iPad Pro?

The iPad Pro (as we will be calling it for now) will be available to order starting on April 30. There are a lot of new features of the iPad Pro, but in this article we will focus on availability and pricing.

Update: According to Verge, the older version of the 12.9 Magic Keyboard will not be compatible with the M1 iPad Pro. So if you currently have the 12.9 iPad Pro and Magic Keyboard, be prepared to shell out another $349. According to the article though the upcoming Magic Keyboard will be backwards compatible with older 12.9 iPad Pro models.

The release date is not completely set in stone, just a general availability of second half of May. I have a feeling that this iPad Pro will sell out in the first couple of weeks. I will be upgrading from my 2018 12.9 iPad Pro and I’m sure a lot of you out there are excited for the new M1.

The iPad Pro will be available in two sizes: 11 inch – starting at $799 and 12.9 inch – starting at $1099.

From the looks of it, if you have last gen accessories, you will be able to use them for the new iPad Pro as well.

This time around the new iPad Pros will have 5G as a connectivity option. This upgrade option from the WiFi version will cost you an additional $200. Previous models only charged $130 for an upgrade to the LTE model.
